11 Food Stalls In Adam Road Food Centre You Must Try

First established in 1974 and located opposite where it currently stands, Adam Road Food Centre is a little smaller than many hawker centres in Singapore. However, it features a diverse range of ethnic food, and it still houses many of its original hawkers who have been there since the 70s. Today, it is mainly known for the famous nasi lemak stalls here and makes for a great spot to grab a meal after a visit to the Botanic Gardens, or a pit stop along the way on the Coast-to-Coast (C2C) Trail. From nasi lemak to satay, prawn noodles and chicken rice, you’ll find a whole host of multi-ethnic cuisines at Adam Road Food Centre!

Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak

No matter what time you’re here, there’s no escaping the snaking queue at this famous nasi lemak stall. In our opinion, it’s very much worth the wait! The family recipe places emphasis on four crucial components: the basmati rice, sambal chilli, chicken wing and otah otah. True enough, their rice is incredibly fragrant, the sambal and otah just the right level of spice, and the chicken is perfectl...
