Remember when we shared about Jay Chou’s favourite bubble tea shop, Machi Machi? ICYMI, Machi Machi opened its doors in Singapore early this year, but unfortunately had to close temporarily due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Understandably, many bubble tea fans were left devastated.
But we’re here to bring you some good news! Machi Machi has launched its Oddle store, and you can now have Jay Chou and JJ Lin’s favourite bubble tea delivered to you.
For those of you who are not familiar with Machi Machi, it hails from Taiwan, and made its name in the East district with its hand-shaken drinks. The bubble tea brand is known for their extensive menu and diverse flavours of bubble teas such as cream cheese foam, creme brulee, fruit teas and lattes.
Apparently their cream cheese teas are so good, they are even dubbed the “Cheese Tea God” by the Taiwanese media!
There are three steps to enjoying their cream cheese drinks: first, sip on the cream cheese to get its sweet and fragrant burst of flavour, then stir the drink well and guzzle down the rest of the drink.
Try not to pass up on their Black Milk Tea with Panna Cotta (S$7.50) either. A heads up for Jay Chou fans – this is one of his favourite drinks! Fragrant milk tea layered with smooth panna cotta made inhouse. Super delish, though it can be hard to suck up with a thick straw. So maybe don’t order this if you just had your wisdom tooth extracted.

Do note that Machi Machi is only taking in orders for its bubble tea via its Oddle site and strictly delivery only. At the moment, they are not serving walk-ins and self-pick ups. Do check their Facebook or Instagram page for updates on when they will reopen in Phase 2!
For delivery, you can make your orders between 11.45am to 8.30pm daily. Only limited slots available each day, so fastest fingers first! There is a minimum order of S$40 and a delivery fee of S$10 if you are within a 10km radius. Otherwise, the minimum order will be S$50 and delivery at S$10.
