Belle-Ville Pancake Cafe

Another pancake café from Japan, Belle-Ville is known for its meringue mille-feuille (French for “thousand layers”) pancakes. Compared to fluffier pancakes found elsewhere, the ones at Belle-Ville are more buttery and eggy, thinner yet still fluffy. Each pancake is made fresh upon order and the meringue is whipped into the batter and grilled on the spot. The cafe only serves sweet pancakes such as Strawberry and Mixed Berry Pancake, Mango Pancake, Grilled Apple with Homemade Caramel Pancake, Matcha with Rice Ball and Red Bean Pancake, and Chocolate with Grilled Banana Pancake.
