Lai Hiang Pork Rib Prawn Mee

There are two famous prawn noodles here, one of them being Lai Hiang Pork Rib Prawn Noodles. Run by a husband-wife duo, their prawn noodles come in both soup and dry versions, but the latter seem to be more popular. The dry noodles come with fish cakes, pork slices, prawn and a small bowl of broth, topped with fried shallots and chilli powder. The springy and slurpy Mee Kia was evenly tossed with soy sauce, pork lard and chilli, while the soup was light and sweet. Try to come early as the food might get sold out as early as 1 pm!
