San Chao
San Chao literally translates to “three fry” because it only serves three types of fried dishes: Carrot Cake, Fried Kway Teow and Oyster Omelette. Can’t decide what to get, go for the Yuan Yang that has both white and black carrot cake fried to perfection. The Oyster Omelette is fried until crispy with some chewy starchy parts, while the oysters are fresh and comes serves in a piquant chilli sauce. Last but not least, the Fried Kway Teow includes the usual mix of rice noodles and yellow noodles, as well as lup cheong, beansprouts, cockles and fish cake fried with black sauce.
