Kovan Chwee Kueh draws in a steady stream of customers in the mornings. Their rice cakes are firmer, while their chye po is cooked in vegetable oil instead of pork lard. A nice mix of sweet and savoury, the only downside is that the ratio of rice cake to chye po is not always balanced. It's worth it to pay an extra 20 cents for some extra chye po!
