5 Christmas Pop-Up Bars to Have a Drink At This Year-End

It’s time to toast to the end of a long and weird year. Although we can’t be sipping on hot mulled wine in a wintry Christmas market this year, we can still indulge at these limited time only festive pop-ups.

Christmas on Canal

Deadfall transports you to the North Pole with its immersive decor, where holiday cocktails ($20) are aplenty. You won’t go wrong with the Drunk Uncle Mulled Wine, a warming mix of red wine with Buffalo Trace Bourbon, triple sec, pear, citrus and spices or the Ho Ho Holy Sh!t It’s Christmas made with Monkey Shoulder, Buffalo Trace Bourbon, pimento dram, maple and burnt pecan bitters.

Until Dec 27, Mon-Fri 3pm - 10.30pm, Sat 4.30pm - 10.30pm | Deadfall, 16 North Canal Road, Singapore 048828

Miss Fitz-mas

Find a series of holiday-themed cocktails at this fun pop-up, where Miss Fitz is transformed into a fun-filled playground featuring a Santa’s Workshop. Sip on some classic Eggnog, made with Rémy Martin VSOP and house-made pumpkin spice, or Gingerbread Old Fashioned with Wild Turkey Bourbon, Gingerbread syrup and bitters.

Until early Jan | Miss Fitz, #01-17 The Sail, 6 Marina Boulevard, Singapore 018980

Baileys Treat Bar

The Baileys Treat Bar has been spicing up festive periods with its special, indulgent creations since 2017, and they finally land in Singapore! This December, the Baileys Treat Bar will transform homegrown ice cream parlour Apiary into a boozy dessert wonderland filled with beverages and ice cream that uses the iconic Irish cream liqueur.

Till Dec 31. Sun-Thu 12pm-10pm, Fri-Sat 12pm-10.30pm | Apiary Ice Creamery, 84 Neil Road, Singapore 088844

Melati Pop-up Bar

Melati is Asia’s first non-alcoholic aperitif, so your non-drinking friends won’t miss out on the fun too. Try the non-alcoholic Melati Spritz featuring the Melati paired with grapefruit spritz and cucumber, or the Spiced Nogroni, which comes with Melati, decaf coffee, bittersweet Chinotto and spiced juniper. Fancy a cocktail? Snowglobe is made with pandan vodka, Melati, lemon juice and Christmas sparkles, and Singapore Christmas is a tropical delight of coconut, vodka, Melati and lime.

Every Friday and Saturday in Dec from 5pm (except 25 and 26 Dec) | The Dragon Chamber, 2 Circular Road, Singapore 049358

Christmas GINgle

The elves have taken over Brass Lion Distillery! For $55, you will be in for a two-hour experience. First warm up with a welcome cocktail, and settle in with the Chief Distillery Elf who will guide you through a tasting flight of specially crafted Christmas gins, and take home a gin bauble for your tree. Hankering for more? The elves have also curated a GIN-spired food and drinks menu with highlights like the Pahit gin-glazed Ham, Mulled Wine and even a gin-infused Black Forest cake ice cream!

Till Dec 31. 3.30pm, 6pm, 8.30pm (buy tickets here) | Brass Lion Distillery, 40 Alexandra Terrace, Singapore 119933
