13 Local Tourist Attractions to Visit in July Without Any Tourist Crowd

As we proceed further into Phase 2, we are seeing more signs of life after it was grinded to a halt due to COVID-19, and more good news have come our way: 13 tourist attractions will be resuming operations from July 1, with more likely to reopen progressively.

After three months of closure, here are the tourist attractions that will reopen this week, along with the new measures implemented to reduce COVID-19 transmission risks:

Bounce

  • Masks have to be worn at all times unless you're participating in strenuous activities such as wall running.
  • Capacity limited to only 33 jumpers per session, so book online to avoid disappointment.
  • Temporary reduction of jump sessions to 50 minutes to allow workers to wipe down surfaces for the following hour.

Operating hours: 10am – 10pm (Mon - Fri), 9am – 10pm (Sat, Sun & P.H)

Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay

  • From 1 Jul – 10 Jul: Open to Friends of the Gardens members only
  • From 11 Jul onwards: Open to the rest of the public and Friends of the Gardens members
  • Visitors are strongly advised to arrive on time and to visit Flower Dome within their selected time slot, as entry may not be allowed if the subsequent entry time has reached its quota.
  • Visits are limited to five guests per group.

Operating hours: 9am - 8pm daily

Jurong Bird Park, River Safari and Singapore Zoo

  • Parks will reopen to the public on 6 July 2020. Night Safari will remain closed for the time being.
  • Parks will be operating with limited capacity. Entry will be time-based, so make sure to purchase your tickets online and select your entry time before you visit. 
  • Visits are limited to five guests per group.
  • Some experiences, programmes and animal exhibits may be temporarily closed to keep everyone safe. Check out what you can plan to see and do.
  • Tram rides are temporarily suspended, so be ready for a walk!

Operating hours (Jurong Bird Park and Singapore Zoo): 8.30am to 6.00pm (Last entry at 5.30pm)

Operating hours (River Safari): 10.00am to 7.00pm (Last entry at 6.30pm)

Madame Tussauds

  • Only contactless payment methods will be accepted and the use of debit/credit cards. Onsite ticket purchase will not be available during the initial phase of reopening, so do purchase tickets online.
  • All guests are required to observe social distancing, no touching of figures, avoid crowds and practice good hygiene. 
  • Wearing of masks throughout the attraction is mandatory, and hand sanitisers will be provided at various stations.
  • Marvel 4D cinema will be closed until further notice.

Operating hours: 11am - 7pm (last admission at 6pm)

Zero Latency

  • Number of players per session is capped at five. To prevent cross-contamination, no other customers beyond your social group will be allowed to join your game session.
  • Only online bookings are being accepted, so do book your session to avoid disappointment!
  • State-of-the-art VR equipment will serve as a safe distancing tool and proximity alarms will alert players when they are coming close to a meter apart.

ArtScience Museum

  • Future World will reopen on July 1 and 2219: Futures Imagined on July 3.
  • Due to limits in venue capacity, only Sands Rewards members who have bought tickets in advance can access the museum in the initial phase.

Operating hours: 10am - 7pm (last Admission at 6pm)

Sands SkyPark Observation Deck

  • MBS is resuming operations of Sands Skypark Observation Deck from July 1.
  • During this initial period, the Observation Deck will only be open to Sands Rewards members who pre-purchase their tickets online.
  • Capacities within the attraction will be reduced, especially during peak periods.
  • Hourly disinfection of all high-touch points.

Operating hours: 11:30am - 8pm daily

Casino at Marina Bay Sands

  • The Casino, which will re-open from July 1, will only be accessible by Sands Rewards Club (SRC) members holding Gold status or higher, who are below 70 years of age, along with Existing Annual Levy Holders
  • Limitations on the number of patrons in private salons and at each gaming table, while electronic gaming machines and slots will be placed at least one metre apart. The limitations are as follows: 1 player per Table on Level B2M and Level 1, 2 players per Table on Atrium Level 2, 1 player per alternative Slot/ETG Machine
  • High-touch areas and equipment will be cleaned and wiped down on a frequent basis, while more than 800 hand sanitiser stations are available.

Universal Studios Singapore

  • Universal Studios Singapore reopens on July 1 - 5, and subsequently every Thursday through Sunday.
  • Shows, street entertainment, and select experiences will not be available until further notice. Click here for more details.
  • Guests holding open-dated tickets and passholders are required to make reservations before your visit.
  • Presently, purchase of tickets are only available online. Limited availability per day.

Operating hours: 2pm to 9pm (Thurs to Sun)

S.E.A. Aquarium

  • S.E.A. Aquarium reopens from July 4 onwards, and subsequently every Saturday through Tuesday.
  • All shows, public feeding sessions and character meet-and-greet will not be available until further notice.
  • A reservation is required before your visit, which you can make here.

Operating hours: 10am to 5pm (Sat to Tues)

Casino at Resorts World Sentosa

  • The Casino will reopen from July 1 onwards.
  • Only Genting Rewards members or existing Annual Levy Holders will be allowed to patronise the Casino during this initial period.
  • Each table is capped to a maximum of 4 players excluding Roulette and Tai Sai tables which are capped at 3 players per table.
