Ah Ter Teochew Fish Ball Noodles
The owner of Ah Ter Teochew Fishball Noodles was a Chinese immigrant who came to Singapore in the 1950s. Making a living through his handmade fishballs, the stall used to be at Maxwell Food Centre before moving to Amoy Street Food Centre. Today it is run by the third generation, and an order comes with a bowl of soup. The handmade fishballs are made fresh daily and have a soft, bouncy texture. The noodles are tossed in their signature sauce that is a blend of seven ingredients, stir-fried continuously for six hours!
