Xiang Ji Cooked Food

Serving up hearty bowls of porridge, Xiang Ji Cooked Food is another ridiculously popular stall in Yuhua Village Market & Food Centre, often selling out within mere hours. The porridge itself is neither too thick nor too watery. It has a nice heft that brings out the flavour of your choice of protein, and you would still find soft grains of rice within, unlike the usual Cantonese-style ultra-smooth congee. Each bowl of porridge is comforting, as though they were cooked at home by your grandma.
