Ah Tan Wings

Fried chicken in a hawker centre? Ah Tan Wings is started by a young hawker who surprisingly has no prior experience and is driven purely by his love for fried chicken. He and his brother spent over a year trying over 800 variations before nailing the recipe. Specialising in har cheong gai (prawn paste chicken), they are so popular it’s not unheard of for them to sell out way before closing time. Think a fragrant, crunchy prawn paste batter and succulent chicken meat. Best with some of their tangy, homemade chilli sauce, or make it a meal with rice and a sunny-side-up!
