Bendemeer Fresh Cockles Fried Kway Teow
The Char Kway Teow at this popular stall is served with your classic mix of yellow noodles and kway teow, with an array of ingredients – lup cheong, egg, fishcake, cockles, beansprouts, and pork lard. The char kway teow here is a wetter version and the noodles have a slightly mushier texture. In terms of flavour, it leans towards the sweeter side while still having a pleasant savouriness to it. Tying the flavours together is an amazing wok hei, which is much more prominent than other stalls.
