Whampoa Satay Bee Hoon

Whampoa Market & Food Centre is home to two satay bee hoon stalls, one of which is Whampoa Satay Beehoon. The plate is served with no pork liver and comes with pork slices, cuttlefish, prawns, kangkong and tau pok. The bee hoon is cooked to al dente with a firm bite as it soaks up all the gravy that comes with chunks of roasted peanuts. It does taste on the lighter side, so folks who prefer a robust and rich satay bee hoon should probably look somewhere else! Apart from satay bee hoon, the stall also serves a decent laksa.
