Bak Kee Teochew Satay Bee Hoon

Satay bee hoon is a dish you don’t find often at hawker centres, and Bak Kee Teochew Satay Bee Hoon is supposedly one of the best in Singapore. Get ready to queue at least 15 minutes for a plate, which consists of thin bee hoon topped with pork slices, pork liver, cockles, tau pok, beansprouts and kang kong, all generously smothered in a peanut satay sauce. It is mildly spicy and slightly sweet, and together with the earthiness of the sauce makes it a thoroughly satisfying meal.
