Heng Leong Carrot Cake

There are a few carrot stalls at Pek Kio Market & Food Centre, but Heng Leong Carrot Cake stands out for the fact that they still hand make their carrot cakes and dicing them up daily! No factory made pre cut cubes here. Their chunky carrot cake comes in the usual two ways – a white version that is reminiscent of an omelette with crispy edges and a soft centre, while the dark rendition is luscious, sweet and smoky.
