Ding Te Le
One of the stalwarts of Shanghainese cuisine in Singapore, Ding Te Le is known for their Sheng Jian Bao, the underrated cousin of xiao long bao. The difference is in their method of preparation, when sheng jian baos are fried in a flat pan to create a golden-brown crust only on the bottom, while the top is kept soft and chewy. You can also order other dishes to go along, such as Vegetables and Pork Wanton Soup, Scallion Noodles and Fried Spare Ribs!
