Previously known as Golden Shoe Food Centre with a history dating back to 1984, the new Market Street Hawker Centre is now housed in the CBD in CapitaSpring. Occupying the second and third floors of the building, the space houses 56 stalls connected via escalators located in the middle of the spacious food centre. As it caters primarily to the CBD crowd, the crowd starts to pile in by 11:30 am or so, with long queues forming at many of the popular stalls.
