Yi bua is a traditional Hainanese snack that is getting increasingly rare to find in Singapore. A steamed glutinous rice dumpling filled with palm sugar, desiccated coconut, ginger, sesame, and peanuts then wrapped in banana leaves, it is usually prepared during special occasions.
