Soon Heng Hong Kong Style

Soon Heng Hong Kong Style Charcoal Roast at Havelock Road Cooked Food Centre serves the usual roasts like char siew, roasted pork, roasted duck and roasted chicken. You can get them in a variety of combinations, and they come with white rice that’s drizzled with dark soy sauce and a hard boiled egg. You can also add on additional ingredients like pig skin, which is nicely braised and still retains a bite to it. The chili sauce here is also not the sambal kind, but one closer to chicken rice chilli. Slightly sourish, it definitely whets the appetite!
