Boon Goreng Pisang

Established since 1998, Boon Pisang Goreng has been delivering the same delicious fried fritters since their days at the now-defunct Longhouse. Today you’ll find the humble stall within Balestier Market, where they serve an assortment of fried fritters and Vietnamese dishes. Their goreng pisang comes in different sizes and has a light and crispy batter that’s much like tempura, and the banana within is soft and gooey. You’ll also find other deep-fried goodies such as nian gao, cempedak, and tapioca!
