Maxwell Fuzhou Oyster Cake

A stalwart at Maxwell Food Centre that needs no introduction, Maxwell Fuzhou Oyster Cake has been dishing out fresh oyster cakes since the 1960s. Started by Madam Pang Siew Ting in order to support her five children, the stall is now helmed by one of her daughters. The oyster cakes are fried in small batches to ensure utmost freshness, and each order is handed to you piping hot. The oyster cake is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, a wonderful marriage of moist minced meat, chopped oysters, crunchy peanuts and coriander, all covered in a fried rice batter!
