It's a pesky problem: as soon as you put on your face mask and head out the door, your glasses start to fog up.
They do so because the mask directs your breath upward instead of out in front of you, which is great for preventing viral transmission, but bad for anyone with less than perfect eyesight.
But there's a simple fix for that which will only take a minute, and all you need is soap and water!
Step 1: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water
Remember to wash them for at least 20 seconds, or the time it takes to sing "Happy Birthday" twice!
Step 2: Wet your glasses with water, then lather some soap on the lenses
There's no time limit for how long you should scrub your lens, so just be gentle and thorough.
Step 3: Rinse your glasses under warm water
Make sure to not leave any soap on your lens! Any soap stains will just add to the fog problem.
Step 4: Gently dry your glasses with a clean microfibre towel or lens cloth
Again, be gentle and avoid using a towel that may scratch your delicate lenses!
