Celebrating festive occasions look different in the midst of a pandemic – and Chinese New Year won’t be an exception. But one thing we won’t miss is the snaking queues at every other bak kwa store in the country! This year, more famous heritage bak kwa brands are offering online shopping and delivery service.

Lim Chee Guan

No long queues this year at this wildly popular bak kwa brand, as only online orders and deliveries are allowed during the peak period of 20 Jan to 9 Feb 2021. Their website will open for pre-orders on 15 Jan from 9am onwards, and there will be a purchase limit of 20kg of bak kwa per customer.

Bee Cheng Hiang

One of the oldest bak kwa brands in Singapore, Bee Cheng Hiang is reliably good. They’re known for not using preservatives, MSG, added flavours, artificial colouring, or meat tenderisers in their products. They also have a wide variety of bak kwa, such as the Gourmet Fusion, which features a blend of pork belly and premium pork hind, as well as a Sliced Beef bak kwa.
