We're ready to put 2020 behind us and never talk about it ever again. Nonetheless, we should all give ourselves a pat on the back for getting through it all and making it to the end like a champ.
This year's NYE celebration is going to be different, where loud celebrations replaced by quieter get-togethers, and the Marina Bay Countdown fireworks going off in the heartlands instead. Here are our picks of onsite and virtual events where you can countdown and ring in the new year!
Marina Bay Singapore Countdown
There won't be fireworks this year, but you can still enjoy light shows by the waterfront, such as Shine a Light at The Promontory which features a circular formation of 60 light beams to illuminate the Marina Bay skyline. Check out the three-minute sequence from 8pm to 10.30pm, every 15 minutes, throughout the month (last show at 11.45pm on 31 December).
