This simple and old-school prawn mee is now run by a young hawker who made the career switch from the finance industry. The recipe has its roots in 1950s when the now-owner's grandfather sold it along the streets of Balestier. There are no fancy ingredients involved, but this unassuming bowl of prawn mee has even drawn in the likes of Anthony Bourdain and Julien Royer!
