Teochew beef noodles is the lesser-known beef noodles counterpart that features a soupier broth much like Thai pho. For a bowl of solid Teochew goodness, head over to Kim Huat Teochew Beef Noodles. The noodles are typically kway teow, but yellow noodles and thick bee hoon are also available depending on your preference. The soup here is on the lighter side, with the chilli made with garlic and ginger instead of chilli padi.
