Jason Penang Cuisine
Jason, the chef behind Jason Penang Cuisine, was the British High Commissioner’s resident chef for 14 years. After the stint, he opened his own hawker stall with his wife to showcase authentic Penang cuisine. The stall’s specialty is the Assam Laksa which comes with a sour and spicy broth, with a hearty amount of ingredients including fresh prawns. The authenticity of other dishes such as the Penang fried kway tiao and prawn noodles have also won over many fans!
