Pondok Pantai Timur

Originally located in Changi Village, Pondok Pantai Timur is a family-run business located in Ubi. Their Ayam Penyet has an impressive presentation – sitting on a literal bed of housemade sambal is a large piece of smashed fried chicken, accompanied by deep-fried tofu pieces, crispy batter bits and slices of cucumber. The fried chicken is superbly seasoned and fragrant with herbs and spices, our only gripe is just that it’s a tad smaller than other places!
