Mohamed Sultan Road Hot & Cold Cheng Tng

Before we go on, let us just say that this version of cheng tng is completely different from the traditional types you may be used to. It comes with canned longans and lychees which may put off cheng tng purists, and the base is also clear instead of brown. However, they’ve been doing things this way for over 50 years, so something must be working! True enough, the soup is refreshing and sweet, and a great way to cool off in the afternoon heat.
