Tonkotsu Kazan Ramen
If we talk about “volcano ramen”, chances are many people will immediately think of Tonkotsu Kazan Ramen. Originating from Osaka, their signature kazan ramen ($19++) is served in a hot stone bowl and covered with a conical red lid. Steam “erupts” while the dish cooks, just like a volcano! Although it doesn’t affect the taste of the dish in any way, we have to say it makes for a great Instagram story/TikTok moment. The ramen comes in five flavours, but we highly recommend the Karamiso (spicy miso) for spice lovers!
