The Plain Jane Cafe
The Plain Jane Cafe is anything but plain. What draws the crowds to this cafe in the rustic Serangoon neighbourhood is its highly-raved Swiss rolls that come in flavours such as vanilla, Thai milk tea, chocolate, raspberry and matcha. The Matcha Swiss roll is a popular pick. Light and moist, it is generously filled with matcha cream that is not overpowering with a slight lingering bitterness.
