Be prepared for a wait especially during lunch time, as the owner fries each plate of char kway teow individually. His rendition is more similar to Penang char kway teow than the usual black, dark soy sauce-laden char kway teow that’s more common in Singapore. Each plate is smoky and slightly charred with good wok hei, and comes generously packed with fresh ingredients such as prawns and fish cakes.
