You may already know Hvala, a modern-day matcha teahouse specialising in a wide array of matcha desserts and drinks. However, their newest outlet along Craig Road has an exclusive treat. Hvala’s rendition of mochi waffles comes with a crispy exterior and a soft chewy mochi on the inside. The dairy-free mochi waffle is served alongside a scoop of oatmilk or matcha gelato, drizzled with golden syrup and then topped with a sprinkle of fragrant genmai (toasted rice)!
