Traditional Carrot Cake

Got a craving for some good old carrot cake? Traditional Carrot Cake is there to serve you a comforting plate of black or white carrot cake. This might not be a famous fried carrot cake stall, but it is very popular amongst residents in the area and sometimes sell out before it’s even lunchtime! The white variation contains plenty of egg, chye poh and garlic and has a nice char from the wok. Meanwhile, the black version has a wonderful sweet-savoury balance of flavours, thanks to the use of dark sauce.
