Fu Zhou Poh Hwa Oyster Cake
Run by Madam Ong Poh Hwa, who grew up helping her grandmother sell the snack during the 1950s, Fu Zhou Poh Hwa Oyster Cake is one of the few stalls in Singapore still selling oyster cakes. The batter is her grandmother’s recipe, and here you can get the oyster cake in two sizes: the regular studded with peanuts, or the upsize version with double the ingredients and additional whitebait garnish. These crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside snacks are irresistibly moreish and generously packed with ingredients!
