Joo Hwa Food
Joo Hwa was first started in the 1970s by a few siblings on the streets of Chinatown selling fresh yong tau foo, prawn roll and fishballs. Back then, everything was freshly handmade and sold, as there was no refrigerators on the streets. During that time, business gained significant popularity and queues started to form even before opening hours. After moving to Ang Mo Kio in the 80s, Joo Hwa Food were able to start mass producing their beloved yong tau foo, ngoh hiang, prawn roll, fish balls and fish cakes to a wider marker. Today, the business is run by the 2nd generation, and delivery services were implemented to cater to young people's changing lifestyles and to provide convenience. Minimum purchase for delivery is $60 (delivery fee +$5). Enjoy free delivery for orders above $70!
