Wanton mee is a Cantonese noodle dish popular in different parts of Asia. Here in Singapore, the dish is usually served dry, garnished with leafy vegetables, sliced char siu and a bowl of soup with wanton dumplings. However, over the years, there’s been more renditions of wanton mee, with some served in dark sauce or simply just oil-based. The chilli sauce is also handmade by Uncle Koung!

An upscale noodle bar in Chinatown, WANTON - Seng's Noodle Bar appeals to younger diners and has quickly gained a following since its opening a few years ago. Its regulars keep coming back for its modernised wanton noodles served with chunky char siew, tasty wantons and handmade egg noodles tossed in a sauce that's tangy and spicy.
