Calling all sweet-tooths out there, especially those who are crazy over gummies! Bears & Friends is the first gummy bear specialty store in Singapore and they are stocked with every kind of flavour you could think of and more.
Hailing from Munich, Germany, Bears & Friends has been bringing customers quality gummies since 1995. Their gummies are exclusively made in Bavaria and are free of artificial flavours, colours (with a few exceptions), and stabilising ingredients. In fact their fruit flavourings are derived from all sorts of fresh fruit juices, with actual pulp included.
That's great news for those of us who are trying to eat healthier this year!
Located at the ground floor of a heritage shophouse unit at Haji Lane, you won't have a hard time spotting the outlet as it's shopfront is brightly coloured with quirky illustrations of gummy bears in various forms.
Spot the gummy bears dressed up as the Merlion, a samsui woman, holding a cup of kopi and other adorable takes on familiar Singaporean icons that's sure to delight both locals and tourists.
Stepping inside, you'll be wowed by the shelves packed with gummy bears of different colours and flavours. Spoilt for choice? You can sample the gummies before deciding on your purchase!
You can buy the candies two ways: pre-packed in single-flavour or assorted flavours, or pick and mix, where you can fill a cup up with any flavours you desire. The pick and mix option starts from S$2.50/50g, and there's a minimum purchase of 150g (S$7.50).
For the health-conscious or those with a dietary restriction, vegan and vegetarian options are also available. We love how inclusive they are.

Wine Sparkling Gummy Bears
For something out of the ordinary to tickle your tastebuds, try the wine sparkling gummy bears made from Prosecco. It's fruity and fizzy with a slight hint of an alcoholic aftertaste.
Party Bear Gin Tonic
These gummies are actually not alcoholic at all but still give off a bright and zesty flavour much alike a glass of gin and tonic. They are mainly lime-flavoured with a mild bitter aftertaste. If you're trying to cut back on alcohol, we think these make a great substitute!
Coffee series
Cappuccinos, iced coffees, and black coffee in gummy form? My inner caffeine fiend says yes.
Red Hot Chilli Pepper
For the adventurous-at-heart and spice fiends, this gummy doesn't just look like a chilli, it tastes like one too. And if you love pulling (harmless) pranks on your loved ones, these gummies would make a great addition to your repertoire!
Honey Bee Gummy
This bee isn't here to sting. Instead, they taste very much like your favourite honey drinks – definitely my personal favourite out of the mix!
The store is currently undergoing some minor refurbishment works, but they will be back in full swing on 11 Jan. Hopefully, the wet weather would've eased itself by then, so we can all go out and get our sugar fix.
