1. Hua Fong Kee Roasted Duck

As its name suggests, Hua Fong Kee Roasted Duck is known for their juicy and well-roasted ducks. They’ve been doing this since 1988, and we know they have fans from all over Singapore who’d travel to Toa Payoh just for their Cantonese roast. The main star of the show here is their roast duck (duh!). Its crispy skin and tender meat is full of flavour, and the duck slices are served atop a bed of rice with some gravy. You can also choose to have it with noodles instead!

2. Kam's Roast

A Michelin-starred roast meat establishment from Hong Kong, Kam's Roast is especially known for their roast duck. Using only top quality, free-range ducks, their signature roast duck and Pipa Duck are perfect for any special occasion. The meat is marinated with the restaurant's time-honoured secret recipe. The resulting crisp and sinfully oily duck skin plus tender meat makes for such a dreamy combination!

3. Duckland

Duckland specialises in all things duck. And what makes them really special is that they have both Asian and Western duck delicacies! The Roast Irish Duck is a definite must-try. Marinated with herbs, spices and wine, the duck is roasted to amber perfection while the meat locks in all the juices. It is served with three kinds of dipping sauces and the meat is already nicely sliced for convenient eating!

4. Jiu Jiang Shao La

​​Nestled amongst the many hawkers in Ghim Moh Food Centre is Jiu Jiang Shao La. Specialising in roasted meats, they are best known for their roast duck and long queues! The roast duck here is exceptionally good and best of all, prices are very affordable here. Served with white rice, a ladle of sauce and a side of chilli, the meal is so sinful but also so satisfying.

5. Meng Meng Roasted Duck

Those who used to frequent JB may be familiar with Meng Meng Roasted Duck. Best known for their Dang Gui Roasted Duck, Meng Meng has set up their first branch in Singapore in Ang Mo Kio. The meats, marinades and sauces are imported from Malaysia, and the duck is roasted onsite over charcoal. The result is crisp golden skin and moist, sweet meat with subtle smoky notes!

6. Dian Xiao Er

Dian Xiao Er has not just one, but three iterations of roast duck! Folks who love a strong herbaceous kick in their roast duck will no doubt enjoy the Duck Roasted with Ten Wonder Herbs. Made with a whopping total of 10 herbs and with several health benefits, this is a truly delicious yet nourishing dish. 7. Wang Fu Roasted Delight

Helmed by an Ex-Kam’s Roast chef, Wang Fu Roasted Delight specialises in roast duck and chicken. The roast duck here is a sight to behold with its glistening skin, and you can see all the juices oozing out as the meat is cut! Marinated overnight before being roasted at the stall, the duck is thoroughly flavoured and just simply a delight.
