With National Day right around the corner, local F&B and snack chain Old Chang Kee will be celebrating Singapore’s 55th birthday with a special menu. The homegrown brand has always been actively participating in National Day, and this year is no exception. They will be launching a limited-edition menu that features four different puffs and flavours, to represent our racial diversity!
From 2 to 9 August the first to roll out in this series will be the Chilli Crab’O puff, wrapped in a red and white exterior that is our national colours and inspired by our iconic chilli crab dish. This pastry is filled with a tangy chilli crab sauce and accompanied with real crab meat!
Then from 10 to 16 August, a traditional favourite Malay dish will be turned into a puff with their Rendang Chicken’O. This green puff will feature a chicken and potato filling, flavoured with special rendang spices.
17 to 23 August will feature the Butter Chicken’O puff. It has chicken, onion and potato drenched in a velvety, buttery and spicy gravy. If you enjoy rich flavours and fragrant Indian spices, you'll be a fan of this!
The Chicken Stew’O will wrap up this NDP pastry series from 24 to 30 August. This pastry has a creamy white sauce filling with chicken, potato, carrot and peas, encased in a charcoal-infused exterior.
Each puff above is priced at $2, and will be available at all Old Chang Kee stores and delivery platforms for a limited time only. Get them while stocks last!

My family is a big fan of the Curry Chicken Flower Bread and it isn't too hard to see why. You can tell that the thick and flavourful curry chicken has been simmered for quite a long time to give that soft potato and fall-off-the-bone chicken! Not to mention, it's perfect for sharing.
