That certainly sounds like a wonderful dream. Well, not anymore, because luxury tall ship Royal Albatross is making it a reality with Singapore’s very first dog cruise!
Dog Cruise is a special event that is actually an extension of the Royal Albatross' hooman-only sunset dinner cruises that sail from Friday to Sunday every weekend. Sailing on Wednesdays at 6.30pm, this unique dinner cruise includes a gourmet menu for both doggos and their owners, with the option for your furkid to dine at the table like any other member of the family!
The Dog Cruise promises a memorable experience, and will take guests from the ship's berth at Resorts World Sentosa along Sentosa's southern beaches and around the Southern Islands.
Guests will get to enjoy a scrumptious and beautifully plated three-course meal, starting with a starter, an appetiser, a main course and dessert. There will also be a welcome mocktail, and a free flow of soft drinks onboard.
Your furkid will also indulge in an appetiser, a main course with raw or cooked options, as well as a dessert. These special meals will be made from all natural ingredients provided by Bom Bom. They will also receive surprise goodies while onboard, and get to enjoy specially planned dog activities!
Considering the safety risks involved with having many dogs on board, doggos with aggressive tendencies or are easily stressed will not be suitable for the Dog Cruise. As a precaution, Royal Albatross has teamed up with Sunny Chong Dog Training School to provide a complimentary “interview” at your home, their training center, or before boarding to check your furkid’s suitability.
In the event that your furkid is deemed unsuitable, you will be refunded according to Royal Albatross's policy. However, SingapoRediscover Vouchers (SRV) will not be non-refundable, but you will be allowed to exchange for any dinner cruise of up to 6-months.
Royal Albatross requests a 2 adult:1 dog ratio on all Dog Cruises for safety and space reasons. Prices start from S$420 for 2 hoomans with a small dog under 10kg, S$490 for 2 hoomans with a medium dog between 10-20kg, and S$585 for 2 hoomans with a large dog over 20kg.
