6 Bowling Alleys in Singapore With Cosmic Bowling, Pro Lanes and More

In a space as compact as Singapore, we’re often looking for new things to do, or looking for new ways to do old things. Bowling is a pastime that’s been around since 1965, and no matter how old you are, many of us have memories of hitting the bowling alleys with our friends or family. Today, there are bowling alleys all across the island, some with neon lights and club bangers for a smashing good time. Whether you’re up for some cosmic bowling or just some regular good old family fun, check out these six bowling alleys in Singapore!

1. K Bowling

Cosmic bowling has been the rage and we have K Bowling at 313 Somerset to thank for that. While we might still have a ways to go before we can hit the club, K-Bowling is where you can play bowling surrounded by neon lights and club bangers. Rates start from $11 per game, which means it isn’t the most wallet-friendly one around, but it sure makes up for that with its upbeat and lively atmosphere! Other than bowling, there are also dart machines, karaoke booths and old school arcade games.

2. Orchid Bowl

Orchid Bowl is one of the biggest bowling alleys in Singapore, with four outlets spread across the island – Orchid Country Club, SAFRA Punggol, SAFRA Yishun and Our Tampines Hub. At their Cosmic Bowling sessions, your bowling shoes can double as dancing shoes. Grooming the next bowling champion? Young ones can try their hand at MiniBowl, which comes with light bowling balls and automated bumpers. Another draw is its low prices, with rates for the public starting from S$4.30 per game per person, and S$20 per lane per hour. Orchid Club members, NTUC Plus, PAssion cardholders, and students can enjoy further discounts!

3. Sonic Bowl

Strike your boredom away at Sonic Bowl, which has three different locations in Singapore: Tampines Hub, SAFRA Yishun and SAFRA Punggol. Prices are very affordable starting from S$4.30 per game per person, and S$20 per lane per hour. SAFRA members can get a discount off the regular rates (yes, even at Tampines Hub!) For cosmic bowling sessions, they take place at SAFRA Yishun and SAFRA Punggol on Fridays, Saturdays and eve of PHs from 7pm. Prices start from $32 per lane per hour. The bowling alleys also have foosball tables, claw machines and pool tables to keep everyone entertained!

4. Westwood Bowl

Equipped with an advanced ball tracking system, 180 bowling balls (including ones for kids), 300 rental shoes and 500 lockers, Westwood Bowl has some of the best amenities around. It is also one of the cheapest, with rates starting from just $3.40. Public officers along with Civic Service Club members can enjoy further discounts! Its location in the west means that you can avoid all the hustle and bustle of the more populated areas. No need to be paiseh even when you’re constantly throwing gutter balls.

5. SuperBowl

With seven locations, SuperBowl is one of the most popular bowling alley franchises in Singapore. Similar to most of them, SuperBowl offers friendly competition and exercise in a family-friendly setting. There’s also bumper bowling for the young enthusiasts aged 10 and below! Public rates are slightly higher here, with prices starting at $5 per game, and $24 per lane per hour. However, SAFRA members can enjoy discounted rates, as can HomeTeam NS, SB10-Pin Club and PAssion card members.

6. Singapore Bowling

This state-of-the-art bowling alley in Singapore is the place to go if you’re looking for a more serious bowling experience. Singapore Bowling is where the national team trains and where major competitions take place! Prices start from $4.50 per game, with HomeTeam NS, SAFRA and Temasek Club members enjoying discounted rates. We recommend Singapore Bowling for serious bowlers seeking to hone their skills, or those who just want a boost of motivation by basking in the greatness of champions.
