Aqua Gastronomy is the Resorts World Sentosa’s latest dining concept that combines breathtaking views of the marine landscape along with a four-course seafood feast. Adding to the experience are dynamic lighting effects, an atmospheric soundscape and special underwater performances to capture all your five senses!
From September 4 to October 31 2020, the S.E.A Aquarium’s Open Ocean Habitat will be transformed into a futuristic dining space, complete with eight “sea bubble” pods and whimsically-decorated tables. All seating provides prime views of the aquarium’s dreamy underwater terrain and majestic inhabitants such as reef manta rays, hammerhead sharks, giant groupers and more.
Along with great views, diners will be pampered with a modern and inventive Asian culinary repertoire prepared with 100% sustainably sourced seafood and local produce. For instance, its sea bass and shellfish come from local fisheries, Barramundi Asia and Ah Hua Kelong. The four-course dinner menu is specially designed by Chef de Cuisine Marvas Huang of Ocean Restaurant and Chef de Cuisine Tony Choo of Forest森, and it pays homage to the abundance of fascinating treasures in the ocean.

But there’s even more to the meal! Each course is punctuated with special effects, rich theatrics and oceanic soundscapes, to excite and captivate the sense of taste, sight, smell and sound. Depending on the weather, there may also be guest appearances by professional underwater divers as they swim alongside the beautiful marine creatures.
And as a physical keepsake to remember the unique meal and dining experience, postcards depicting whimsical illustrations of sea creatures by local artist Wu Yanrong as well as a bottle of kelp sea salt will be available for you to take home.
Each dinner session will exclusively accommodate up to 50 guests, and each pod is spaced more than 1.5 metres apart in accordance to Covid safety measures. You can be assured of a clean environment with high air quality standards, as air conditioning units in the S.E.A. Aquarium are installed with high efficiency filters which kill more than 95% of all viruses, bacteria and particles. In addition, all cutlery are wrapped and all dishes will be covered with cloches when they are served from the kitchen to your table.
Aqua Gastronomy will be held at the S.E.A. Aquarium’s Open Ocean Habitat from 4 September till 31 October 2020, Fridays to Tuesdays from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. The four-course dinner menu is available at $118++, RWS Members will enjoy an exclusive rate of $98++. Children above the age of 10 years old are welcome.
