An All-You-Can-Eat Durian Buffet Is the Dream Come True for Every Durian Lover

It's durian season again, and while many of us are ordering durians to be delivered to our homes, an all-you-can-eat option has come into town to shake things up and fulfil every durian lover's dream.

DurianBB is a durian-themed cafe in Lavender and they are now offering a free-flow Chilled Durian Buffet. From now till 27 Dec, you can get a full hour to enjoy an unlimited amount of D197 Musang King, D24 XO, D13 Golden Bun and 888 Kampung durians for $36.80 per person.

If the name DurianBB sounds familiar, this is because the cafe is actually a concept by a well-known durian farm in Pahang, Malaysia, which supplies top-grade durians around Asia. The farm also has DurianBB cafes in China, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, and now Singapore. To date, they have held over 200 all-you-can-eat buffets!

The buffet will take place everyday between 2pm to 5pm, and reservations are highly encouraged. Seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis, with a maximum of 12 people per session to comply with safe distancing measures.

We think that the price is pretty reasonable, considering that most durian buffets out there cost around $40. Not to mention the quality of the fruits you will get!

The catch is that the durians will be served in a set of the four varieties, and you can replenish as many times within the hour until you are satiated. However, the four varieties will always be served in the same set, which means you cannot just devour Musang King or D24 for the entire buffet.

Apart from the fruit itself, Durian BB also serves a variety of desserts and ready-to-eat durian products such as burnt cheesecake, polo bao, nougats, and even coffee.
