After a long wait, Disney+ has finally arrived in Singapore. With over 650 films and 15,000 episodes of content from The Walt Disney Company’s brands – Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, National Geographic, and Star – where will you begin?

Grab your popcorn and get comfy on the couch. From live-action films to docuseries, we’re taking you on a magic carpet ride to help you get your streaming priorities sorted out!

Hamilton

This revolutionary musical premiered on Broadway in 2015 to critical acclaim. But let’s face it, how many of us can actually afford flying to NYC just for a musical? When it was announced that the filmed version was coming to Disney+, there were still people (i.e. us) who couldn't catch it yet. Now, we can finally enjoy the tale of Alexander Hamilton in our own home.

The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian is a warrior race, and this TV series begins five years after the fall of the Empire in the Return of the Jedi film. It follows Din Djarin, a lone Mandalorian bounty hunter who was hired to find ‘The Child’ (aka Baby Yoda). The duo forms an unlikely bond that sees the Mandolorian doing all he can to keep the Child safe.

Raya and the Last Dragon

The newest Disney Princess, Raya is a warrior princess from Kumandra, a land inspired by Southeast Asian cultures. Voiced by Kelly Marie Tran, Raya embarks on the search for the last dragon in order to unite the five diverse clans of her land. Awkwafina and Gemma Chan of Crazy Rich Asians also lend their voices to this film.

WandaVision

The miniseries of WandaVision kicks start Phase Four of the MCU. It begins three weeks after the events of Avengers: Endgame, with newlywed couple Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Vision living an idyllic suburban life, settling down for what seems like domestic bliss. That is, until the couple realize that things are not what they seem.

Flora & Ulysses

Disney brings the award-winning children’s novel to life with a comedy-adventure film of the same name. Flora & Ulysses tells the story of 10-year old Flora, a cynical comic geek who is learning to cope with her parents’ separation, and Ulysses, a squirrel that she rescues. Little does she know that her new friend is blessed with superpowers, and they’re about to embark on various adventures.

Gordon Ramsay Uncharted

Usually, you'll find Michelin star chef Gordon Ramsay cursing and yelling at aspiring chefs in the kitchen on a reality TV show. But in Gordon Ramsay Uncharted, he's on a mission to immerse himself in new cultures, dishes, and flavours. Follow him as he travels across borders, climbs mountains, dives into oceans, and hikes through forests around the world, all in the name of culinary inspiration.

Pixar Popcorn

Love Pixar films like Toy Story, The Incredibles and Finding Nemo? Pixar Popcorn is an idea sparked during quarantine, and it is a collection of mini stories featuring familiar Pixar characters. Think the Parr family in The Incredibles using their powers to do chores or battle over a midnight snack, and Ducky and Bunny from Toy Story 4 in a battle over who is the cuddliest.

Taylor Swift — folklore: the long pond studio sessions

In this intimate concert session, Taylor Swift performs every song from her latest album, folklore. Accompanied by her chief collaborators on the record and filmed at the historic Long Pond Studios, Taylor also shares the creation process and meaning of each song over lots of white wine. Must watch for Swifties.
