Singaporeans are sure big fans of K-pop, K-dramas and of course, Korean food. And what is the most representative dish in Korean cuisine? Many would agree that it is the kimchi. The sour and spicy fermented dish that is not just delicious, but touted to have multiple health benefits as well.
While we’ve been enjoying kimchi for many years now, it wasn't until this year that homemade, artisanal kimchi blew up, thanks to the circuit breaker. Here's a list of places where you can order your kimchi online!
Jin Kimchi
Started by a Korean national who has been living in Singapore for the past 12 years, Jin Kimchi was a way for the founder to connect and bond with his parents.
If you're not a fan of tangy kimchi, you'll be pleased to find that the recipe here has been tweaked to suit the Singaporean taste bud, resulting in a more sweet and savoury taste.

Hanguk Kitchen
You might not be able to travel to Korea now, but who says you can't have authentic kimchi delivered straight to your door?
Hanguk Kitchen is made up of a team of Korean chefs who specialise in Korean cuisine, so you know their kimchi is legitimate.

CHAE's Homemade Kimchi
Besides the usual kimchi, you'll find kimchi here that fit certain dietary restrictions, such as the Keto Kimchi which does not contain any sugar or gluten, as well as the Vegan Kimchi that's made without seafood paste.

The recipe of Kimchi Local's kimchi comes from a Korean family, and only sea salt and quality Korean red pepper powder are used in the making of their kimchi.
Besides the usual kimchi, Kimchi Local also sells Pineapple & Cucumber Kimchi, as well as a seasonal Pear Kimchi. They're also launching a new flavour on 10 Oct!

Craft & Culture
Unlike the other stores on this list, Craft & Culture doesn't actually specialize in kimchi. Instead their focus is on fermented products and probiotic foods suitable for both adults and children. All their products are also handmade in small batches.

Wanting Kimchi is an artisanal kimchi brand started by K-drama fan Zen Wanting, who first started making kimchi 10 years ago in a tiny dorm kitchen in England.
Her kimchi leans away from the sour side, so if you don't like tangy kimchi, this is for you!
They are MSG-free and low in salt and sugar, and you'll also find some surprising items like the Addictive Apple Kimchi. Vegan options available too – check out her website!
Kimchi Noona SG
Kimchi Noona has a pretty extensive menu compared to other stores. Besides the usual cabbage kimchi, they also sell Garlic Scapes Kimchi, Spring Onion Kimchi and other side dishes such as Pickled Radish, Korean Braised Potato and Sweet Salty Black Beans.
All their kimchi is handmade, and free of preservatives and MSG.
