Madam Leong Ban Mian
Madam Leong Ban Mian is run by a single mother, Vivian Leong, who started the business to support her teenage daughter. Inspired by her mum’s hakka-style ban mian, Vivian made the jump from housewife to hawker, making her ban mian daily by hand. The broth is simmered with yellow beans and anchovies for two hours before it is ready to be served. Together with springy noodles, fiery chilli and a flavourful homemade sauce, this is definitely a ban mian that will keep you coming back for more.
