Cheng Kee Beef Kway Teow

For well over a decade, Cheng Kee Beef Kway Teow has been delighting foodies with its beef noodles that command a long queue during peak hours. The stall offers the usual variety of beef parts which includes tendons, beef balls, tripe, and meat. You also get to choose either yellow noodle, kway teow, thick bee hoon) or rice to go with your beef soup, and have your chosen dish in either the dry or soup version. The soup version features intense beefy flavours paired with the acidity of pickled vegetables, and the varying textures of the crunchy vegetables and beef made the dish even more enjoyable. The dry version boast of the same beefy notes as its soupy counterpart, with the gooey sauce clinging nicely to the noodles. Make sure to get yourself a generous helping of their cincalok and chilli to know why they’re such crowd-pleasers!
