Tokyo BBQ Stingray

Not related to the Japanese capital at all, the BBQ Stingray here is touted to be one of the best in Singapore. It is thicker than usual, but no less juicy or flavourful, peeling nicely from the cartilage. The sides are nicely charred and the flesh has a generous coating of the sambal paste adding a fiery kick to each mouthful. Together with the chinchalok and chilli achar, the stingray delivers a zesty aftertaste too. Simply perfect with some white rice. Other dishes you can try are their Oyster Omelette and White Lala!
