Angel Horse Teochew Fish Soup

No matter what time you stop by this stall, you’ll always find it swarming with hungry customers. The soup here comes clear, without the usual addition of milk. It is light-tasting and refreshing, and the fresh Batang fish slices are tender without any odd fishy tastes. Excellent when paired with the accompanying fermented bean sauce with chopped chilli padi! Folks who are used to heavier tastes might find this too light, but it will hit all the right spots if you appreciate natural, sweet and fresh fish flavours.
